HIGH DIVE is Gainesville's epicenter of Live Music & events in Downtown. Former home of Common Grounds and Covered Dish! In same building as Five Star Pizza, next to Southwest parking garage HIGH DIVE is a live music and event venue unlike any other in Gainesville, providing a professional concert experience to artists and music fans that might typically be expected only in a bigger city. High Dive has the largest and highest quality sound system of any live music venue in Gainesville. We have the biggest dedicated parking lot of any venue downtown, and parking is always FREE (first come first serve) THE DECK (our outside bar) is always NO COVER for 21+ for those that wish to hang out and have a drink but don't want to see the show ! The Deck features 42" flat screen TVs and stereo sound. Often showing FLORIDA GATOR and TAMPA BAY RAYS games and more! EVERY FRIDAY is HAPPY HOUR (7 - 9) out on The Deck with super cheap drink specials and free food
