Guts & Glory GNV presents "#Momlife - maternal stories of triumph and failure and everything in between" is a benefit for the Mommy Reads program. It's happening right before Mother's Day! Gainesville area moms will be telling their personal stories about the wildness of motherhood - stories of struggles and joys, confessions and realizations. They'll make you laugh, cry, and get some goosebumps. We're holding benefit because we think Mommy Reads is awesome. The program serves mothers incarcerated at Lowell Correctional Institution. Volunteers record mothers' stories on mp3s, along with a personal message, to send to their children. Stories, mothers, love, and generosity. Let's do this! Monetary AND book donations are welcome and encouraged at the event. DOORS AT 7:30, SHOW AT 8! Cash only at the door. Online tickets sales will continue until 5pm the day of the show.
