Called “Italian Fingerstyle Master” by Acoustic guitar Magazine, Alberto Lombardi is an eclectic guitar virtuoso. His guitar style is very personal, derived from the diverse musical experiences Alberto has in rock, pop and jazz as a session player and record producer. Incorporating acoustic fingerpicking, flatpicking, some looping and electronics, electric soloing and singing, Alberto can transform a single guitar into an orchestra. His own instrumental compositions and full blown rock songs complete the picture of a unique live experience.
In his solo show, Lombardi plays his acoustic guitar arrangements of great classics from the Italian and international tradition (from Volare to the Beatles, Sting, Stevie Wonder..) to rock and roll greats like Supertramp and Jeff Beck, and then he grabs his electric guitar to color with melodic and lush guitar solos.
