This is something we should never have to type.
We had kids in high school reach out to bring this to our attention and wanted to do something to help.
This family and these kids deserve better.

Help Sebastian, Fabiana & Antmary Be Reunited
Last weekend in Gainesville, a loving family was suddenly torn apart.
Antmary, her 17-year-old son Sebastian, and her 28-year-old daughter Fabiana were taken into ICE custody and separated from one another. In a matter of hours, they went from living their everyday lives and looking toward the future to facing fear, uncertainty, and an unimaginable separation.
Antmary came to the United States nearly 10 years ago in search of a better life and greater opportunities for her children, whom she loves more than anything. She has worked through the appropriate legal channels to pursue a safe, hopeful future for her family. Together, they have built their lives here and become valued members of our community.
Sebastian was looking forward to beginning his senior year at Gainesville High School. A beloved friend, classmate, and teammate, he participates in soccer, football, and baseball. Known for his kindness, dedication, and love for his teammates, he should be preparing for his senior year, graduation, and future, not facing uncertainty and separation from his family and the life he knows.
Fabiana is a loving daughter and sister who has worked hard to build her life here. Although her family dreamed she would be able to pursue her studies, she has dedicated years to working and helping support them. She is now separated from the people she loves while their family fights to be together again.
The family believes they were detained under deeply unfair circumstances. They are working with attorneys to understand their options, protect their rights, fight for their freedom, and seek reunification.
They now face significant legal expenses, attorney fees, potential bond costs, and other urgent needs related to their detention and separation. Every donation can help provide the legal support they urgently need as they fight for their freedom and the chance to be together again.
