We’re doin’ this thing this coming Saturday. What is it? It’s simply a community focused benefit show to help out our neighbors and friends who need it. It’s truly not much more complicated than that. Gainesville has a long history of benefit shows and community driven events and this is just such a thing. It’s a killer line up and there’s even bands you may have never seen before. The Bull, How Bazar and Loosey’s are stoked to have you down in our space enjoying the bands and community.
And lots of people have questions.
So I am gonna try to answer them!
“$25- what’s that get?” All three venues, all day long, for one cover.
“What if I want to donate more money?” Loosey’s can take your bucks and we also have Venmo for that.
“Where do I get that wristband?” At Loosey’s.
“Will I have to show my ID at each place still?” Yes. Each venue will still want to check your ID because it’s the law.
“When is each band playing?” There’s a band schedule on this post! Check it!
“What about my kids? Can I bring them?” YES! Two rules with kids- they have to be accompanied by a parent or parent age guardian, and they have to have ear protection. Otherwise we are equally stoked to have the kids out here too. Community and actionable community outreach doesn’t start at 21 or even 18.
“What if we get hungry?” Loosey’s is a full service restaurant and we’ll be cookin’ all day long and we’ll have Frenchman Street Food out doing their thing too! There are a number of great spots you can walk to from the 1st Ave if you want to take a walk.
“What if I only want to see one band?” Thank you for your donation.
