NIWA (vocals; São Paulo, Brazil) & XEEN (electronics; Istanbul, Turkey) on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at How Bazar in Gainesville, FL, USA as part of the OneBeat 11 residency program in conjunction with Pulp Arts. "The residency program, which begins at the Atlantic Center for the Arts and will be traveling throughout the Southeast, brings 25 innovative musicians from 17 countries to collaborate, compose, and perform original works together, exploring the theme of “Buried Knowledge” through music and sound. This theme invites fellows to explore hidden and suppressed histories, traditions, and cultures, and to use their music as a tool to unearth, revive, and celebrate them."
