Dr. Buchanan has served the North Central Florida area for over 30 years, pouring his soul into the pregnancy and birth community. He began his work at Alachua General Hospital and migrated over to Shands Teaching Hospital, maintaining a private practice. Over the years he championed mothers and midwives, offering birth options for folks from all walks of life.
