Join us at the CMC this Trans Day of Remembrance, Tuesday, November 20th, for a vegan potluck and screening of two short films on the theme of trans woman of color futurity: “That Fertile Feeling,” directed by Vaginal Davis, and “The Atlantic Is a Sea of Bones,” directed by Tourmaline Gossett. Both films engage with ongoing lives of trans women of color in a social context that perpetually commits violence against them.
The Vegan potluck will begin at 6pm, and the screenings of the two films will begin at 6:30, ending at 7:00, just before the beginning of the Trans Day of Remembrance event at Bo Diddley Plaza.
