Aly Raisman captured audiences across the globe when she became the first American gymnast to win the gold medal in the floor exercise and is one of only two American gymnasts to make back-to-back Olympic teams in more than 15 years. In the 2016 Games, she guided her team to gold and landed a silver medal performance in the All-Around competition.
Raisman exuberates leadership on and off the gymnastics floor by using her platform to promote body positivity, encouraging everyone to be confident and comfortable in their own skin. In “Fierce”, Raisman’s New York Times best-selling memoir, she reveals her Olympic journey as well as her survival of sexual abuse. Raisman advocates for systematic changes within the sport of gymnastics. As a leading activist in the #MeToo movement, Raisman hopes to eliminate sexual abuse in youth sports.
