Jefferies, known for his provocative and belief-changing stand-up style, has established himself as one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation. He is a best-selling touring comic and is also the host of Comedy Central’s hit show, “The Jim Jefferies Show” which returned for season two on Tuesday, March 27. The weekly Comedy Central series features Jefferies traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. His show was nominated this year for a WGA Award in the category of Comedy/Variety Talk Series. Jefferies also created, wrote, produced and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series “Legit.” The television show ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following.
Last summer, Jefferies’ international standup tour “The Unusual Punishment Tour” received rave reviews and has now extended with new dates through 2018. He also released his fifth major standup special in seven years “Freedumb.” The special is Jefferies’ second special to premiere on Netflix. His first special, “Jim Jefferies: BARE,” included an iconic routine on gun control in the United States.
Jefferies co-hosts the weekly podcast series called “The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast” with Forrest Shaw. The podcast features interviews and discussions with a variety of guests. Jefferies discusses current news and politics and provides a more in-depth focus on the topics discussed in his television show.
