Anupama Priyadarshini is an Indian folk artist from Darbhanga, India. She practices the art of Mithila called ‘Mithila painting’ focusing on mythology, symbolism and special events. Painting
is traditionally done on mud walls and handmade paper with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks, using natural dyes. But in modern days it’s also done on canvas, clothes etc.
